We came to Paradise after finding it on the paradisecyprus.net website, and it has exceeded all of our expectations and beyond. The already amazing photos don’t do justice to this extravagant villa, its surroundings and location where it’s positioned on top of amazing hills of Chirokitea, one of the most historic parts of Cyprus.

We have been one of the luckiest people to spend four weeks in the house, meaning we have truly experienced it and used all of the many facilities.

When you arrive, you get hit by the enormous size of the villa, inviting you in with massive hand crafted double doors. Everything is to our taste ….full luxury!  For just the three of us, we felt we are going to lose ourselves in this property, and yet had the space to relax in the many comfortable corners of the house.  I can’t tell you how I’ve enjoyed waking up early in the morning, taking my yoga mat, meditating in this blissful peace of heaven. Having coffee each morning feeling so grateful to be there. All bedrooms are spacious, have built in wardrobes and of course en suite, and beds very comfortable, we felt just like being at home. There is an outdoor bath, which at the start I thought was a strange idea, but very quickly it turned to be my go to relaxing evening time, where I was watching the sun set and stars appearing while sipping on my detox tea (some would prefer a champagne perhaps instead). I will miss these hot night outdoor baths!

Secondly, there is every single kitchen gadget and utensil to very posh Royal Worcester and Villeroy & Boch dining ware in the kitchen. You will not have to worry about anything and feel free to cook or bake to your inspirations. We have had 10 people round for two dinners we’ve organised at the villa, and sat at the massive dining table enjoying the company of our friends . We have had a lot of help with the dinner celebrations form the villa caretakers Janos and Suzanna who have been absolutely amazing. Suzanna is a talented cook and baker, she has spoilt us for treats and salads inspired by Jamie Oliver.

Janos has been always at hand, to support any queries we had, questions about where to go, and he would also make sure that the property stays clean, including the daily swimming pool cleans. We also had Janos clean the house for us weekly on an agreed day, which was handy.

We felt extremely comfortable with the house keepers living on site - we never noticed them there. The three rescue dogs and a rescue cat have made our morning special, always welcoming us. They are extremely friendly dogs, but never intrusive. But about Christopher - he has been the kindest, most accommodating, helpful and flexible owner we’ve had pleasure to talk to (even though he was not present at the villa).

You cannot help but to comment on the massive chlorine free outdoor pool, we’ve spent days in there.

There is a full size Buddha statue by the pool making it a perfect spot and space for some meditative time. There are sun loungers everywhere. Herbs and Mediterranean plants surround the grounds, beautiful lavender smells everywhere, olive trees, welcoming scents of rose verbena plants which awake your senses as soon as you step outside.

I could write forever about Paradise, it is by far my favourite place we’ve visited and I know we will be back very soon again. My boys loved it there as much as I did and it was the best decision we’ve made to stay there. Highly recommend every aspect of it. Come and see for yourself.
